Team Visits Japan for Educational Exchange and Learning

In June 2025, a delegation from Fuji Infinity International Preschool embarked on an enriching educational visit to Japan. Led by our President & CEO, Mr. Rana Dhiraj, the team included Ms. Anika Dhawan (Centre Head), Ms. Anu Sapra (Academic Head), and Ms. Shirin Sane (Activity Incharge). The primary objective of the trip was to observe and learn from some of Japan’s most respected kindergartens, gaining firsthand insight into globally acclaimed early childhood education practices.
The team visited three distinguished institutions:
Tokiwagaoka Kindergarten, Tokyo – An 80-year-old Montessori-inspired school grounded in the philosophy of “self-education.” The visit offered a deep dive into practices that nurture independence and intrinsic motivation in young learners.
Yurikago Kindergarten – Known for its child-centered, sustainable, and nature-integrated approach. This unique environment emphasized the importance of creativity, emotional well-being, and environmental awareness.
Yamanashi Gakuin Kindergarten (YGK), Kofu City – A two-and-a-half-day immersive training allowed the team to engage deeply with YGK’s developmental, culturally rooted, and mindfulness-based practices, all aimed at fostering independence and holistic growth in children.
Throughout the visit, the team engaged in training sessions, classroom observations, and reflective discussions with school leaders and educators. These interactions highlighted Japan’s thoughtful, respectful, and developmentally responsive approach to early years education.
A significant moment of the visit was a meaningful discussion with the Chairman Mr Koji Furuya, where the team had the opportunity to present their learnings and share their commitment to implementing best practices at Fuji Infinity International. The exchange was both encouraging and aligned with the shared vision of creating a world-class preschool rooted in global values.
Beyond the professional learning, the cultural immersion through daily routines, traditions, and community interactions, provided a deeper appreciation for the Japanese ethos of respect, mindfulness, and harmony.
This visit was not only a professional milestone but also a personally enriching journey. The team returned inspired and committed to thoughtfully integrating these learnings into our own context, building a preschool environment that reflects global excellence and nurtures every child’s potential.
